The full adult ADHD assessment pathway costs £1,100, including £100 for the QbTest. It is paid in three stages: initial assessment £300, questionnaires and pre-assessment £400, and diagnostic consultation £400.
You start with a 30-minute initial assessment with a consultant psychiatrist to check whether further ADHD evaluation is suitable. You then complete assessment questionnaires and pre-diagnostic testing, including a QbTest if indicated, followed by an in-depth 60 to 90 minute face-to-face diagnostic consultation.
A QbTest is a computer-based test that measures attention, impulsivity and activity. It is one part of the assessment and is used alongside your clinical interview and questionnaires, not on its own.
